Camps & Solar Eclipse on April 8th

A reminder to members of the Club and Horton Street 50+ Centre, Monday, April 8th is a P.A. Day.

There will be no children’s after-school programs at the Club, including Supper Club and children’s bussing, and all off-site programs are also cancelled.

The Horton Street 50+ Centre will operate and follow its holiday schedule. Only the Fitness Room and recreational swimming will be available. Aqua-Fit and Gentle Fit will not be offered.

• Fitness Room will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

• Aquaplex Pool will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.

• Wellness Pool will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.

• The change rooms, including the accessible/family change room, must be vacated by 10:45 a.m. to accommodate our day camp participants.

For registered camp participants:

From 2:00 p.m. onward, all of the children will be engaged in programming in rooms where windows are blocked, or the children will be in both pools.

If children wish to see the eclipse, we will broadcast virtually on our Smart Boards and TVs.

Parents/Caregivers picking up their children must use the Front Garden area/Horton Street doors. Our main doors at the Aquaplex will be closed.
